The Punjab Engineering Co was come into existence in 1939 at Lyallpur, presently in Pakistan by the efforts of Shri Prithvi Raj Bimbrahw who was a well known First Class Mechanical Engineer from "Punjab Engineering College, LAHORE". He was a very famous industrialist and this firm is counted in first five firms of Ludhiana (Punjab). Our firm started its operations by manufacturing Oil Mill Machinery in 1939 at Lyallpur.

After the independence of the country it was re-established in Ludhiana for the manufacturing of Planer and Plano Milling Machines in 1960. In the year 1970, this firm took a major step in making INDIA a self sufficient country in "FRICTION SCREW PRESS FOR REFRACTORIES" by manufacturing it FIRST time in INDIA. Our firm supplied its first consignment of it to one of the INDIA's leading firm "BIRLA GROUP OF INDUSTRIES" at KULTI (W.B.).

 OUR FIRM IS THE OFFICIAL SUPPLIER OF "HYDRO MECHANICAL JACKS" TO THE R.C.F. KAPURTHALA, A GOVERMENT UNDERTAKING. THESE JACKS WERE EARLIER IMPORTED FROM SWITZERLAND.
